Boatspeed and Propeller app for iPhone and iPad

Propeller calculator for speed (knots) and pitch bases on a number of values from the user. A tool for motorboat and boat motor enthusiasts. The user inputs some own values via "sliders". Its possible to make fine adjustments via plus and minus buttons. The app will calculate speed and pitch. The result of the calculations is estimated top speed and pitch, based on your input of length, weight, horsepower, rpm and ratio.

The calculations are general and do not take into account all external and unknown factors. Thus, the tool is intended as a guide and does not fit in all contexts. Furthermore, the propeller page in the app is not adapted for light racing boats with a strong motor. One experimental page in the app is for testing of formulas meant for light boats with large engines such as racing boats.

The app also contains conversions between different sizes/units.
